Job Description
The Medical Device Assembler is responsible for the precise assembly of single-use medical devices within a cleanroom environment. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong fine motor skills, and the ability to work with small tools and measurement equipment. Comfort operating microscopes and executing delicate sewing tasks using sutures and needles under magnification is essential. The position offers opportunities for skill development through formal training and does not require travel.
Responsibilities
- Perform precision assembly of single-use medical devices
- Maintain strict adherence to cleanroom contamination control protocols
- Operate microscopes for detailed inspection and assembly tasks
- Handle and measure components using specialized tools and equipment
- Execute fine motor tasks including suturing using needle and suture
- Ensure consistent hand-eye coordination for accuracy in all assembly operations
- Support quality standards through detailed and focused work
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in medical device assembly
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Proficient in microscope use for assembly and inspection tasks
- Skilled in suturing techniques and using suture materials
- Knowledgeable of cleanroom protocols and compliance
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
