Job Description

Position Details:
- Full-time, on-site position
- Monday to Friday, 7:50 a.m. – 3:10 p.m.
- Work directly with a caseload of 10-12 students
- Serve elementary grades 3 through 5
- Opportunity for contract renewal for the following school year
Qualifications:
- Hold a Master's or Doctoral Degree in Special Education
- Possess active Illinois state licensure for Special Education
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other teachers, administrators, and parents
- Passion for fostering an inclusive and positive classroom environment
- Open to both experienced professionals and enthusiastic new graduates
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs)
- Deliver engaging instruction tailored to students’ needs
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as appropriate
- Collaborate with colleagues, families, and support staff
- Maintain accurate documentation and records
- Contribute to the school’s positive culture of learning and support
