What You'll Do
-Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, trusts, and estates
-Develop tax planning strategies that help clients minimize tax liabilities and achieve long-term financial goals
-Research complex tax issues and prepare clear, well-supported conclusions
-Build and maintain strong client relationships by serving as a trusted advisor
-Mentor and review the work of junior staff while providing coaching and technical guidance
-Assist managers and partners with tax engagements, client consulting, and special projects
-Stay current on changing federal and state tax laws and regulations
Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
-CPA license
-3+ years of recent public accounting tax experience
-Strong knowledge of individual, business, trust, and estate taxation
-Experience preparing and reviewing complex tax returns
-Excellent communication and client service skills
-Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
-Proficiency with tax software and Microsoft Office
