Legal Talent Development Manager
LHH is partnering with a law firm and we are seeking a Legal Talent Development Manager to play a key role in evolving and expanding our attorney development initiatives. This newly created position offers the opportunity to build upon existing programs while helping create innovative learning and career development strategies that support attorney growth and success.
This is a highly collaborative role with significant visibility across the firm, partnering closely with leadership, practice groups, and talent professionals to drive impactful development initiatives.

What You'll Do
- Partner with practice group leaders to assess attorney development needs and implement targeted training and career development programs
- Design and manage curricula focused on substantive legal training and professional skills development
- Develop and execute experiential learning opportunities and technology-enabled training initiatives
- Research emerging industry trends, including AI and other legal technologies, and integrate innovative approaches into attorney development programs
- Support and enhance mentoring, sponsorship, and coaching initiatives
- Advise and coach attorneys on career planning, professional development, and advancement opportunities
- Analyze program feedback and evaluation data to identify trends and continuously improve development offerings
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on firmwide talent development priorities and strategic initiatives
- Supervise and mentor junior team members while contributing to overall team success
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in attorney development, legal talent management, career advising, professional development, or a related field within a law firm or professional services environment
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or J.D. preferred
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and collaboration skills
- Proven project management experience with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and attorney development best practices
- Interest in emerging legal industry trends, including AI and legal technology
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and handle sensitive matters professionally
