Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a growing and reputable automotive repair shop in Coal City, IL to hire an experienced Automotive Mechanic. Compensation

• 20.00-25.00/hour
• Weekly pay
• Monday - Friday
  • 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and routine service on automotive vehicles
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and wiring-related issues
• Complete vehicle inspections and identify necessary repairs
• Repair and replace automotive components as needed
• Utilize hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Communicate repair recommendations clearly and professionally

Qualifications

• Previous automotive mechanic experience required
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Experience working with electrical systems and vehicle wiring
• Ability to operate hand and power tools effectively
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Valid driver's license preferred
