Forklift Operator

Location: Onsite in Lunenburg, MA
Pay: $21.76 per hour
Shift: 2nd shift, 1:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m.
Schedule: Monday–Friday

We are hiring a Forklift Operator to join the Shipping Team at an off-site warehouse in Lunenburg, MA. This role is responsible for safely operating forklifts, loading and unloading trucks, moving materials, tracking shipments, and maintaining accurate shipping records.

The warehouse is fast-paced, handles up to 25 trailers per day, and is not climate controlled.

• Complete daily forklift inspections and safety checklists.
• Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials.
• Verify product counts, quantities, descriptions, and shipment information.
• Use an RF scanner for deliveries and returns.
• Load products according to department standards and customer requirements.
• Palletize and stretch-wrap products properly.
• Deliver materials to production lines as needed.
• Complete shipping and material-movement paperwork accurately.
• Safely change forklift propane tanks.
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse, loading dock, work area, and equipment.
• Assist other departments and perform additional duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Previous forklift experience preferred.
• Forklift certification from the past 12 months preferred; training may be provided.
• Basic English reading and writing skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills, including decimals and fractions.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Good communication skills and reliable attendance.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, or other shifts as needed.

Candidates must be able to sit for extended periods while operating a forklift, as well as stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb stairs, and drive in reverse throughout the shift. This position requires working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse.
