Location: Los Angeles, CA
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift
Salary: $140,000–$160,000/year
Language: Bilingual English/Spanish Required
Position Overview
We are seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to provide patient-centered primary and preventive care across clinic locations and community settings in East Los Angeles and through a Mobile Health Unit.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient histories, physical exams, assessments, and treatment plans.
- Provide preventive care, chronic disease management, and health education.
- Treat pediatric and adult patients within scope of practice.
- Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostic studies.
- Provide care for patients with Substance Use Disorders (SUD), including Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT).
- Prescribe medications in accordance with applicable laws and protocols.
- Coordinate referrals to specialty care, behavioral health, and community resources.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
- Complete clinical documentation, coding, and billing accurately and timely.
- Provide coverage at East Los Angeles clinic locations and the Mobile Health Unit as assigned.
Qualifications
- Current California Physician Assistant (PA) license.
- Bilingual English/Spanish required.
- Pediatric and adult patient-care experience preferred.
- Experience with MAT/SUD preferred.
- Strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills.
