Tax Manager

The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join its Cincinnati, OH team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated tax professional who enjoys working directly with clients, providing strategic tax guidance, and taking on leadership responsibilities within a collaborative public accounting environment.
The Tax Manager will oversee tax engagements, manage client relationships, review complex tax returns, and serve as a trusted advisor to a diverse portfolio of clients.


What You'll Do
-Manage tax compliance and consulting engagements for a variety of clients
-Review complex federal, state, and local tax returns
-Provide tax planning and advisory services to individuals and businesses
-Research and resolve complex tax issues
-Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
-Communicate directly with clients regarding tax strategies, compliance, and planning opportunities
-Supervise, mentor, and develop Tax Seniors and Staff
-Manage engagement timelines, budgets, and deliverables
-Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and provide additional services
-Stay current on changes in federal, state, and local tax regulations
-Collaborate with partners, managers, and other service lines to deliver comprehensive client solutions
 

What We're Looking For
-Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
-CPA license strongly preferred
-5+ years of progressive public accounting tax experience
-Strong experience preparing and reviewing complex tax returns
-Solid knowledge of federal, state, and local taxation
-Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
-Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines
-Strong client relationship and leadership skills
-Experience mentoring and developing tax professionals
-Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
