Processing Operator

Partners Personnel is hiring Processing Operators for a food manufacturing facility in West Henrietta, NY. Both day and night shifts are available on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule.

This is a great opportunity for candidates with manufacturing, production, warehouse, or machine operating experience who are comfortable working 12-hour shifts and want a schedule with built-in days off.

Schedule

Day Shift: 7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.
Night Shift: 7:00 p.m.-7:00 a.m.
Schedule: Rotating 2-2-3 schedule, including weekends
Average: 42 hours per week

The 2-2-3 schedule provides a combination of scheduled workdays and days off throughout the week. Because of the rotation, one week includes overtime hours paid at time and a half.

Position Overview

Processing Operators support food production and freeze-drying operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for operating production equipment, monitoring processes, maintaining quality standards, and helping ensure products are manufactured safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor food processing and production equipment.
• Perform equipment setup, changeovers, cleaning, and sanitation procedures.
• Follow food safety, GMP, quality, and workplace safety standards.
• Complete required production documentation and quality checks.
• Monitor equipment and production processes for potential issues.
• Report equipment problems, production concerns, and safety hazards.
• Support production goals while maintaining established quality standards.
• Move between departments and production areas as needed based on production demands.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or machine operation experience preferred.
• Ability to work a rotating 2-2-3 schedule, including weekends.
• Ability to work a full 12-hour shift.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in both hot and extremely cold environments throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working around food products and food allergens.
• Strong attendance, reliability, and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer and documentation skills.

• Frequent exposure to hot and cold temperatures.
• Loud, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Continuous standing and walking throughout the shift.
• Regular movement between departments and production areas may be required.
