Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Rotating Day/Night Shifts | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30 or 19:00–7:30) | Every other weekend required | Some holidays required | No call

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting
• Operate and manage the NextStage CVVH machine for continuous renal replacement therapy
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and cardiac rhythms, including identification of lethal arrhythmias
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-acuity cardiovascular care

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN license required
• AHA BLS certification required
• AHA ACLS certification required
• Minimum two years of acute care inpatient RN experience within the last three years in the CVICU specialty
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of the NextStage CVVH machine
• Must pass a telemetry exam prior to start (passing score of 80% or higher; strict criteria apply for lethal rhythm identification and heart block questions; up to three attempts permitted under defined conditions)
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — locals not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Cardiothoracic Surgery setting
• Experience in an Acuity Adaptable care environment
