Job Title

Registered Nurse – Respiratory / Medical-Surgical

Location

Zanesville, OH | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | 36 hours/week | Every third weekend required | No call requirement

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care primarily on a Respiratory unit, including care of COVID-positive patients
• Float occasionally across various Med-Surg units including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED/Med-Surg boarders
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings; telemetry competency will be assessed on day one
• Document accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Ohio RN license required
• Active BLS certification required
• Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience required; must be able to read telemetry
• Current Epic EMR proficiency required — refresher courses or on-site orientation to Epic are not available; proficiency must be documented at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for respiratory or COVID-positive patient populations
• Familiarity with multiple Med-Surg subspecialties such as Oncology, Cardiac, or Stroke
