Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical

Location

Gadsden, Alabama

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit during night shift hours
• Manage a patient assignment with a 6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using electronic medical records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and clinical standards throughout the duration of the contract

Required Qualifications

• Active Compact or Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner electronic medical records system
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
