Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical

Location

Gadsden, Alabama

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Days, 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | Every Other Weekend Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical unit with a 6:1 patient ratio
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Document patient information and care activities accurately using the facility EMR system
• Adhere to facility dress code, including Royal/Galaxy Blue scrubs

Required Qualifications

• Active Compact or Alabama RN License in good standing (no NurSys hits)
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner electronic medical records system
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
