Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical (Travel, Nights)

Location

Birmingham, Alabama

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Night Shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | Alternating Weekends | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit during night shift hours
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner using the facility's electronic medical record system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and safety standards throughout the duration of the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic medical record system
• Permanent residence located 50 or more miles from the assignment facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
• Demonstrated ability to float and adapt to varying unit environments
