Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Assignment with Possible Extension | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Some Weekends and Holidays Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 24-bed Emergency Department with a 4-recliner flex area within a Level III Trauma facility
• Perform triage assessments and initiate appropriate care plans for emergency patients
• Initiate and manage IV access and administer medications including conscious sedation
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and ventilator management
• Document patient care accurately using PICIS and Soarian Clinicals EMR systems
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 3 years of recent Emergency Department experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale, TNCC, and PALS
• Proficiency in ventilator management, IV insertion, triage, telemetry, and conscious sedation
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Minimal to no requested time off (RTO), particularly around holidays

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with PICIS and/or Soarian Clinicals EMR platforms
• Experience working in a Level III Trauma Emergency Department setting
