Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Stroke Unit

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM) | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical Stroke unit in accordance with facility protocols and standards of practice
• Assess, monitor, and document neurological status and stroke-related patient conditions throughout the shift
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered by the care team
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Florida state RN license or multistate compact license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical Surgical RN experience
• Demonstrated stroke unit experience (must be reflected in submission)
• AHCA compliance required for all Florida-based travel assignments

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical or Stroke setting
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems used in acute care environments
