Key Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients, delivering competent and comprehensive nursing care
• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments; note all changes in physician orders
• Obtain and monitor physiological data, observe patient manifestations, and intervene as necessary
• Administer medications as prescribed; initiate, regulate, and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products
• Educate patients and families on care plans, hospital procedures, and discharge instructions
• Delegate tasks to support staff and make referrals to appropriate personnel based on patient care needs

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
• Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Current ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher from a board-approved program
• Experience applying professional nursing theory, practices, and techniques in a hospital setting
• Proficiency in coordinating and evaluating nursing services across a patient caseload
