Clinician & Mentor Job Description

Overview:

Causeway Collaborative partners with young men between the ages of 17-30 to help them achieve their full potential. Through a holistic approach incorporating Futures Planning, Mentorship, and Clinical Services, our staff offers support in navigating life's transition.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a mental health or human services field (social work or counseling, etc.)
  • Pursuing licensure
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, listening, relational, and time management skills
  • 1-3 years of prior industry experience and a strong knowledge of mental health or human service industry standards, including professional ethical standards preferred
  • Direct Service experience with clients and families; experience young adult population preferred
  • Prior experience working effectively within a multi-disciplinary framework preferred
  • Exceptional executive functioning skills, and ability to manage one's schedule and calendar a must
  • Community work experience, including but not limited to in-home work, emergency crisis experience, or community organization work
  • Must be willing to learn and work exclusively within a team construct
  • Must be curious, willing to ask questions & seek feedback

Direct Service

  • Provide individual therapy services in accordance with ethical and professional standards; preferred modalities to include CBT, MI, Solutions Focused, Family Systems & Systems Theories
  • Provide in-home and community-based services based on Causeway Collaboratives' model of treatment and in accordance with client's needs in an ethical, professional and boundried manner
  • Create, maintain, and submit accurate records and documents in a timely manner
  • Maintain a minimum average of 20 Direct Service hours per week, not to exceed 30 Direct service hours.
  • Make quality, timely decisions on behalf of clients, staff, and business
  • Initiate communication with active clients to develop and maintain weekly schedule
  • Review appropriate clinical documentation prior to client engagement
  • Represent Causeway Collaborative in community and networking opportunities to strengthen brand, build brand awareness, and drive business growth

Supervision

  • Participate in individual and group supervision, and seek feedback
  • Identify elements of risk and communicate situationally with supervisor accordingly
  • Be accessible to the team for the purposes of coordinating client care
  • Contribute to weekly rounds & team discussions



Compensation details: 40000-80000 Hourly Wage
