Diabetes Educator - Freemont - Full Time

Find your calling at Mercy!The nurse diabetes educator/coordinator is a health professional who is either registered or licensed by an appropriate accrediting body in her/his field. The coordinator is an experienced health care professional with a strong background in diabetes education. Certification by the National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators is desirable.Position Details:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Licensure: RN licensed in the state of practice.
• Experience: 2-4 years current nursing experience with a strong background in diabetes education.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Preferred Education: BSN.
• Preferred Certifications: Certification by the National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators.
