Tax Preparer/Bookkeeper
- Tax preparation including 1099 and 1040
- Tax planning
- Corporate, Estate and Trust tax preparation experience a plus
- Client accounting using multiple versions of QuickBooks
- Prepare financial statements in Excel
- Prepare payroll for clients on their normal schedule
- Track and calculate adjustments to payroll additions and deductions
- Prepare payroll tax returns and W-2’s
- Prepare sales tax returns
- QuickBooks, Microsoft 365, and Drake Tax experience a plus
- QuickBooks certification a plus
- Canopy client management software experience a plus
- Enrolled Agent or CPA a plus
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Strong communication skills
