Woodside, CA (Hybrid)
$100,000-$125,000 DOE
Seattle Search Group is partnering with a highly respected private family office to identify an experienced Accounts Payable professional to support a diverse portfolio of operating entities, ranch operations, and investment-related businesses.
This is far more than a traditional AP role. You'll work in a sophisticated, multi-entity environment where accuracy, discretion, and exceptional organization are critical. The position offers broad exposure to accounting operations while partnering closely with finance leadership and internal business teams.
Responsibilities- Own the full-cycle accounts payable process across multiple entities.
- Review, code, and process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and timely.
- Manage vendor onboarding, W-9 collection, and ongoing vendor relationships.
- Coordinate invoice approvals and payment processing through Bill.com and electronic banking platforms.
- Process ACH, wire transfers, checks, and other payment methods.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Assist with month-end close by preparing AP accruals and reconciliation schedules.
- Maintain organized electronic records and supporting documentation.
- Prepare annual 1099 reporting.
- Partner with accounting staff on intercompany transactions and special projects.
- Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and internal controls.
- Support additional accounting responsibilities as business needs evolve.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive accounts payable or accounting experience.
- Experience working in a multi-entity environment strongly preferred.
- Experience with Bill.com, QuickBooks Online, or similar cloud-based accounting systems.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting fundamentals.
- Excellent Excel skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- High level of professionalism and ability to handle confidential information.
