Emergency Trauma Response Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) Company: HireNow Staffing (Direct Placement Partner) HireNow Snapshot HireNow Staffing is actively recruiting a seasoned, highly skilled Emergency Trauma Response Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join one of our valued client partners. This full-time opportunity is designed for experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants with recent Emergency Medicine experience who thrive in fast-paced, high-acuity clinical environments. The selected provider will deliver high-quality emergency care while collaborating with emergency physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals within a modern Trauma Center. This position offers structured 10-hour shifts, outstanding compensation, and the opportunity to practice in a collaborative emergency department serving more than 30,000 annual patient visits. Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses, traumatic injuries, and emergency medical conditions.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and initiate appropriate interventions.
- Order, interpret, and communicate laboratory, diagnostic imaging, and other clinical findings.
- Perform procedures within the Advanced Practice Provider scope of practice while maintaining exceptional clinical quality.
- Collaborate closely with Emergency Medicine physicians, nursing staff, specialists, and ancillary departments to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Utilize Epic EMR to maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
- Prioritize patient care effectively in a high-volume emergency department while maintaining excellent clinical judgment.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.
- Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice standards.
- Maintain professionalism while supporting exceptional patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes.
- Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Current Texas NP or PA licensure, or eligibility to obtain prior to employment.
- National certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Minimum two (2) years of recent Emergency Department experience as an NP or PA.
- Experience practicing within a high-volume Emergency Medicine environment.
- Proficiency utilizing Epic Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
- Excellent clinical assessment, communication, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work structured 10-hour shifts.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- No employment sponsorship available.
- Previous Trauma Center experience.
- Experience managing diverse emergency patient populations across varying acuity levels.
- Strong procedural skills within NP/PA scope of practice.
- ACLS, PALS, and ATLS (or equivalent emergency certifications).
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently within multidisciplinary Emergency Medicine teams.
- Stable employment history demonstrating increasing clinical responsibility.
