This full-time opportunity is designed for experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants with recent Emergency Medicine experience who thrive in fast-paced, high-acuity clinical environments. The selected provider will deliver high-quality emergency care while collaborating with emergency physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals within a modern Trauma Center. This position offers structured 10-hour shifts, outstanding compensation, and the opportunity to practice in a collaborative emergency department serving more than 30,000 annual patient visits. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses, traumatic injuries, and emergency medical conditions.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Order, interpret, and communicate laboratory, diagnostic imaging, and other clinical findings.
• Perform procedures within the Advanced Practice Provider scope of practice while maintaining exceptional clinical quality.
• Collaborate closely with Emergency Medicine physicians, nursing staff, specialists, and ancillary departments to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Utilize Epic EMR to maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
• Prioritize patient care effectively in a high-volume emergency department while maintaining excellent clinical judgment.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.
• Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice standards.
• Maintain professionalism while supporting exceptional patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current Texas NP or PA licensure, or eligibility to obtain prior to employment.
• National certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Minimum two (2) years of recent Emergency Department experience as an NP or PA.
• Experience practicing within a high-volume Emergency Medicine environment.
• Proficiency utilizing Epic Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Excellent clinical assessment, communication, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work structured 10-hour shifts.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• No employment sponsorship available.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous Trauma Center experience.
• Experience managing diverse emergency patient populations across varying acuity levels.
• Strong procedural skills within NP/PA scope of practice.
• ACLS, PALS, and ATLS (or equivalent emergency certifications).
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently within multidisciplinary Emergency Medicine teams.
• Stable employment history demonstrating increasing clinical responsibility.

HireNow Package Compensation: $170,000–$190,000 annually (approximately $95/hour as a permanent 1099 contractor) Benefits & Work Location:
