Alliance Health & Human Services is a not-for profit Skilled Nursing Facility located in Northborough, MA.

Tired of the restaurant grind with no benefits, then Alliance Health & Human Services is looking for you to join our team as a Full-Time Food Service Supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Manages Dietary Department effectively and efficiently.

· Develops and maintains written dietary policies, procedures, and performance evaluations.

· Develops and maintains a file of tested standard recipes.

· Participates in surveys. Review/develops and action plan for areas of concern.

· Develops, Implements, and maintains an ongoing performance improvement program for the Dietary Department.

· Any other duties deemed necessary by the Administrator.

· Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains competent staff and maintain personnel files.

· Participates in maintaining records of residents food preferences by interviewing with family.

· Participates with staff members, residents council members and family members in creating palatable menus.

· Plans and prepares the Dietary Departments budget for salaries, supplies, and equipment.

· Order food and supplies in accordance with posted menus.

· Assumes cooking responsibilities as needed.

· Maintain current written records of department expenditures to assure that adequate financial reports are submitted to the administrator upon request.

· Schedules/maintains adequate staff within budget parameters.

· Makes timely adjustments to conform to budget requirements or as dictated by analysis of the monthly operating statement.

Qualifications:

· High School Diploma or GED

· Associate's degree with completion of a food service supervision course preferred.

· Prefer 1 Year of Experience as a supervisor in the planning, preparation and service of food in a healthcare facility or group feeding situation.

· Effective communication skills and ability to interact with Residents and staff
