This travel assignment seeks a Mammography–focused Radiologic Technologist to join the breast imaging team for a 14-week contract, with a standard 40-hour week and weekday daytime schedule.

- Local rate note: local candidates within 50 miles receive the local rate, which is 10 USD less per week than the posted travel rate (approx. 3,030–3,102 USD)

Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic mammography exams with proper patient positioning and compression to obtain high-quality images.
- Operate mammography equipment and associated imaging systems, adhering to safety and quality protocols.
- Verify patient identity, explain procedures, obtain consent as needed, and support patient comfort during positioning.
- Ensure accurate acquisition of images and timely communication of results with radiologists and breast imaging team.
- Maintain accurate patient records, verify exposure parameters, and document procedures in the radiology information system.
- Apply ALARA principles, uphold radiation safety standards, maintain equipment cleanliness, and participate in routine quality control.

Requirements
- Certifications: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography and in Mammography; BLS certification.
- Licenses: Massachusetts license to practice radiologic technology (RT) in the state.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in a breast imaging/mammography setting.
- Education: Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Ability to work 8-hour shifts; comfortable performing mammography procedures with adherence to safety and infection control standards.
- On-call requirement: None.
