You’ll blend craftsmanship with disciplined process to meet OEM and customer standards, support teammates, and keep the shop safe and efficient.

Your impact

• Execute TIG-centric repairs and manufacturing for turbine/generator components.
• Deliver superior surfaces: ~75% grinding and blending; ~25% precision welding.
• Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble complex parts with accuracy.
• Use precision measurement tools to verify compliance with technical specifications and blueprints.
• Prepare parts and perform media blasting to achieve required finishes.
• Collaborate with job site managers to align on priorities and schedules.
• Operate forklifts and cranes in accordance with safety practices.
• Practice 5S-style housekeeping and support other shop functions when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience preferred; background in Power Generation preferred.
• Available for significant mandatory overtime during busy cycles.
• Ability to set up/operate welding equipment and weld delicate components with minimal distortion.
• Comfortable reading and interpreting drawings and technical specs.
• Strong mechanical aptitude; clear verbal and written communication.
• Proactive in anticipating change and organizing work to maintain efficiency.
• Sound organizational habits and attention to detail.
• Physically able to stand and walk for long periods; frequent bending, reaching, and lifting required.
• Committed to customer and ARMS safety requirements; OSHA 10 preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass drug test and background check.
