CT Technologist Position Description
This role entails travel assignments as a CT Technologist. The position operates from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM at a designated cost center.
Years of Experience- Minimum of 2 years of experience required.
The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures utilizing computerized tomography equipment. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and positioning patients for CT scans.
- Administering contrast materials as needed.
- Ensuring the quality and accuracy of images produced.
- Maintaining patient records and documenting procedures performed.
- Collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Adhering to safety and compliance protocols.
- Valid state licensure and certification as a CT Technologist.
- Proficiency in operating CT imaging equipment.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient care.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is preferred.
