Interventional Radiology Technologist Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team in Evanston, IL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interventional radiology, particularly with neuro procedures.
Responsibilities- Assist in various interventional radiology procedures, including thrombectomies, pulmonary embolism treatments, uterine fibroid embolization (UFE), and Y-90 procedures.
- Scrub in and collaborate with interventional radiology physicians during complex procedures.
- Participate in on-call duties for neuro and interventional radiology emergencies.
This position requires full-time availability, with a flexible schedule that may include 8-hour or 10-hour shifts. Weekend work is not typical, except for on-call requirements.
On-call Requirements- On-call for neuro procedures with a 30-minute callback time.
- On-call for interventional radiology cases with a 45-minute callback time.
- Required to cover one weekend (Friday through Sunday) and serve as a third person for varied additional weekend days.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional radiology, with travel experience preferred.
- Neuro experience is highly desirable.
- Must possess a valid Illinois IEMA license.
- Certifications: BLS and ARRT are required.
Orientation can be scheduled any day during the week, with a preference for Mondays.
