X-Ray Technologist Job Description
The X-Ray Technologist position requires a dedicated professional with a solid background in radiologic technology, operating various radiographic equipment independently and proficiently. The role necessitates compliance with specific licensing and certification standards.
General Requirements- Minimum of 2 years of independent experience as a registered Radiologic Technologist.
- Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in operating all radiographic equipment, including DR fixed equipment, DR fluoro equipment, C-arms, and portable DR equipment.
- Assignment of a dosimetry badge is mandatory.
- Experience with Philips DR, Philips C-arms, OEC C-arms, Philips Fluoro, and Epic EMR is preferred.
- A valid State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer is required upon start of assignment.
- Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Shifts may vary, with an average of 3 days of call per month.
- No guarantee of hours or time requested off.
- Holiday coverage is required.
Travelers must arrive on the island the Friday prior to the scheduled start for necessary HR and EH clearance appointments.
