Key Responsibilities

• Prepare for and perform all CT examinations while operating assigned equipment in a safe and prescribed manner.
• Evaluate diagnostic images for technical quality and develop, initiate, and monitor procedures for effective scanner utilization.
• Perform IV access using sterile technique and administer contrast media under physician supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness of the scanner and associated equipment in accordance with infection control policies and procedures.
• Utilize the current EMR system efficiently and complete required documentation for each examination performed.
• Lift and transfer patients using safe ergonomic techniques and appropriate patient handling devices; communicate with patients, family members, and caregivers as needed.

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification required.
• Washington State certification as a Radiologic Technologist, registered in X-Ray and CT.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with Shimadzu portable equipment, Rad Speed Pro, GE/OEC C-arms in an OR setting, and Toshiba CT scanner.
• EPIC EMR experience required.
• Adherence to all universal blood and body substance precautions, PPE requirements, and continuing education mandates.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working night shift in a hospital or acute care setting.
• Comfort with on-call responsibilities in a fast-paced imaging environment.
