Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (Friday–Sunday, 6:30 AM–7:00 PM) with one overnight rotation (Sunday 6:30 PM–7:00 AM) | On-Call Rotation Required at Secondary Location

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and diagnostic radiographic examinations of designated anatomical areas in accordance with established practices and procedures
• Operate CT and X-ray equipment across two locations, including a main acute care campus and a freestanding emergency department
• Obtain patient history, explain routine imaging procedures, and address patient concerns prior to and during exams
• Participate in on-call rotation at the freestanding emergency department location
• Produce high-quality computerized tomographic scans and diagnostic radiographs as directed by clinical staff

Required Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience as a registered Radiological Technologist with CT experience
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT) required
• South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA) licensure in both Radiography (R) and CT required
• Must have completed an AMA-approved school of radiological technology
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
• Radiation monitoring badge required — must be provided by the placing agency

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in an acute care hospital or freestanding emergency department setting
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health records system
• Comfort working independently as the sole multimodality technologist on a 12-hour shift
