CNC Lathe Operator - Night Shift

Kadon Precision Machining is seeking a dependable and motivated CNC Lathe Operator to join our night shift team. This position is responsible for operating CNC lathes to produce high-quality precision components while maintaining production goals, quality standards, and a safe work environment. Experience with CNC lathes is preferred.

Essential Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathes according to established work instructions and production schedules. 
• Load and unload raw materials and finished parts. 
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. 
• Monitor machine performance and identify quality or tooling issues. 
• Change inserts and tooling as needed to maintain production. 
• Read and follow blueprints, work instructions, and inspection requirements. 
• Maintain accurate production and quality documentation. 
• Keep work area clean and organized following 5S and safety standards. 
• Work closely with setup machinists, supervisors, and quality personnel to ensure customer requirements are met. 
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures. 
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous CNC machining or manufacturing experience preferred. 
• Experience operating CNC lathes is a plus. 
• Ability to read basic blueprints and use measuring equipment. 
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. 
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. 
• Reliable attendance and a positive attitude. 
• Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
