Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Level I trauma center, requiring 2+ years of CT experience and ARRT CT certification in hand at time of consideration.
Details
- Level I trauma center and teaching hospital setting with high complexity cases
- All Siemens CT scanners
- Outpatient and inpatient work settings
- Night shift, 4x10 hours, 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with rotating days off
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call requirement
- May float within scope to meet facility needs
- Charting performed in Epic
Requirements
- ARRT CT certification required in hand at time of consideration
- BLS required
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience required
- Level I trauma or large hospital setting experience preferred
- Siemens scanner experience preferred
- Experience with PACS and contrast administration required
- IV starts, portables, and biopsy experience preferred
- Required CT procedure experience includes abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction
- Preferred CT procedure experience includes aspirations/biopsies, brain perfusion, colonography, CT arthrography, drainage, myelography, and transplant studies
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Perform CT imaging across abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal regions with contrast preparation and administration
- Facility is a short-term acute care, teaching, and Level I trauma hospital with 1,259 staffed beds
- Scrub colors accepted are black, red, or white
- First-time travelers are accepted for this role
- No more than 7 days of RTO allowed within the 13-week contract, with no RTO permitted during the first week
- Candidates must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility to be considered
- Permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning to any facility within the health system as a traveler
- Standard travelers may stay up to 18 months with a required 3-month break in service afterward
