Cath Lab Technologist – 13-Week Contract

Location: Columbus, OH
Facility: Mount Carmel East
Contract Dates: August 30, 2026 – November 28, 2026
Schedule: Four 10-hour day shifts
Hours: 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
Department: Cardiac Cath Lab

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment in Columbus, Ohio. This position will support a busy cardiac catheterization lab and requires flexibility with rotating days off, call coverage, and weekends.

Schedule and Call Requirements

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Day shift: 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
• Rotating days off
• Approximately 14 days of call during each six-week period
• Every third weekend
• Must be able to respond within the facility’s required call-back timeframe

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Prepare the procedure room, equipment, supplies, and sterile field
• Scrub, circulate, and monitor during cardiac catheterization procedures
• Operate and troubleshoot Cath Lab equipment
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and cardiac rhythms
• Maintain accurate procedural documentation
• Follow radiation-safety and infection-prevention standards
• Respond appropriately during urgent and emergent cardiac situations
• Participate in the required call and weekend rotation

Qualifications

• Previous Cath Lab Technologist experience required
• Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Ability to scrub, circulate, and monitor cases
• Current BLS certification required
• Additional Cath Lab or cardiovascular credentials preferred
• Strong understanding of sterile technique and radiation safety
• Must complete all required competency testing, skills checklists, and credential verification
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced procedural environment
