Maintenance Mechanic - 1st Shift

Talento Search Group has an opening for a Maintenance Mechanic in the Talladega, Alabama area. This is a direct-hire position and the pay rate is $21-$26 per hour, depending on experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Diagnose and replace hydraulic and pneumatic components

Perform preventive maintenance on equipment

Weld as needed

Install or repair conveyors and belting

Perform building maintenance

Experience Needed:

At least 2 years of industrial maintenance experience

Mechanical experience including hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, conveyors, and machine rebuilds.

Electrical experience including 480V

Knowledge of limit switches, timers, coils, and starters

Must be able to work overtime as needed

Strong understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance

Able to read schematics, diagrams, and blueprints
