Job Description
Temp Maintenance Technician
Schedule: 1st Shift – 7:30am–4:00pm (Mon–Thurs) Every other Friday 7:00am–3:30pm
Pay Rate: $22-$35/DOE
Assignment: Temporary – 6 months
Position Summary:
Under general supervision, performs semi-skilled building maintenance, repair, and installation work to maintain facilities, housing units, and equipment in safe and efficient operating condition. Works independently and exercises sound judgment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general building maintenance including carpentry, painting, flooring, roofing, and minor structural repairs. Unit turn overs
- Conduct HVAC preventative maintenance (filters, belts, adjustments).
- Complete minor electrical and plumbing repairs, including fixtures, drains, and appliances.
- Install and repair doors, locks, cabinets, and household appliances.
- Troubleshoot mechanical systems and respond to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Operate light-duty trucks and tools; assist with material handling and contractor coordination.
- Maintain accurate work logs and reports.
Qualifications:
Experience in general building maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing repairs. Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints. Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independentl
