Warehouse Associate

Job Summary
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, loading, unloading, and inventory control. This position requires a dependable, safety-conscious individual who can work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining accurate inventory and ensuring orders are prepared for timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect, and properly store incoming products and materials.
• Pick, pull, pack, and stage customer and delivery orders accurately and efficiently.
• Load and unload trucks while ensuring products are handled safely to prevent damage.
• Organize warehouse inventory and maintain clean, orderly storage areas.
• Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counts and reconciliation of discrepancies.
• Verify quantities, product numbers, and shipping documentation against orders.
• Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, carts, and other warehouse equipment as needed.
• Assist with stocking shelves, replenishing inventory, and maintaining proper product locations.
• Prepare products for shipment and ensure orders are properly labeled and secured.
• Follow FIFO and other inventory-rotation procedures when applicable.
• Maintain accurate records of received, stored, picked, and shipped materials.
• Communicate inventory issues, damaged products, shortages, or discrepancies to supervisors.
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment.
• Assist with general warehouse duties and other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, distribution, logistics, or material-handling experience preferred.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials throughout the warehouse.
• Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods.
• Ability to accurately read product labels, packing slips, purchase orders, and shipping documents.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Forklift or pallet-jack experience is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting productivity and accuracy requirements.
