Groundskeeper/Maintenance Technician

Mountainvale Village, a division of Zeman Homes, is looking for a full-time seasonal Groundskeeper / Maintenance Technician. This position performs routine and landscaping, handy man and preventative maintenance work.

Essential Job Description

• Performances groundskeeping duties, such as removing weeds, raking leaves, planting flowers/shrubs, and perform other lawn care services as necessary.
• Ensures community is presentable, inviting and meets standards.
• Cleans and maintains community buildings and maintenance garage.
• Performs general maintenance/handy man duties around the property and in homes.
• Works on water/sewer issues.
• Plows snow around the community.

Requirements

• Previous grounds and maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to endure seasonal temperatures as working conditions require constant outdoor work.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• General knowledge of janitorial work, plumbing, and grounds maintenance.
• Proficient skills in operating various hand tools, power equipment.
• Ability to walk, climb, stand, sit, and lift 50 pounds.
• Excellent customer service skills.
