Millwright Mechanic

The Millwright Mechanic will be responsible for installing, aligning, and maintaining industrial machinery such as conveyors, turbines, and pumps. This role includes dismantling and relocating equipment safely, performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and ensuring precise machine alignment using a variety of precision tools. The ideal candidate will be adept at reading blueprints and schematics and committed to following all safety procedures on job sites.

Responsibilities

• Install and align industrial machinery, including conveyors, turbines, and pumps
• Dismantle and move equipment using hoists, cranes, and hand tools
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Ensure proper machine alignment using precision tools
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Follow all jobsite safety procedures

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of Millwright experience in industrial or commercial settings
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Experience with micrometers, laser alignment equipment, and other precision tools
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred
• Must have basic hand tools
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to attend mandatory orientation in Watkinsville, GA
