About Matlock’s Used Parts
Matlock’s Used Parts has been family-owned and operated for over 80 years, growing from a single salvage yard into a multi-location, multi-state auto parts business with over 100 employees today. Now in its third generation of family leadership, Matlock’s has built its reputation on knowing its customers and inventory better than anyone else in the region, and on treating employees like family.
Job Summary
If you like variety, hands-on problem solving, and never doing the same job twice, this could be a great fit.
Matlock’s Used Parts is looking for an experienced Fleet & Facility Maintenance Mechanic to keep our delivery trucks, semis, heavy equipment, and small equipment running strong and our facility safe and functional. You’ll diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues across a wide range of vehicles and equipment, develop preventive maintenance schedules, and handle basic facility repairs such as plumbing and electrical work when something needs fixing.
This is a hands-on role built for someone who thrives on variety: one day it’s a hydraulic line on a forklift; the next, it’s a brake job on a delivery truck. You’ll work independently, manage your own priorities, and play a critical role in keeping the fleet on the road and the facility running smoothly.
We’re looking for someone with several years of hands-on mechanic experience, strong diagnostic instincts, and the initiative to stay ahead of problems rather than wait for something to break.
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. No weekends.
