Carpenter/Finish Residential

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking experienced Finish Carpenters (Residential) in Syracuse, New York, and surrounding areas within 40 miles.

Pay: $25.00 to $35.00/hr (based on years of experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform finish carpentry on residential projects, including kitchen and bathroom remodels and full home renovations
• Install cabinetry, trim, doors, fixtures, and complete detailed finish work to specification
• Assist with broader remodel tasks such as light demolition, framing, drywall, flooring, and final finishes as needed
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and finish schedules accurately
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
• Work closely with project managers and other trades to meet project timelines
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and client expectations

Requirements:

• Minimum 4-5 years of carpentry experience, with a strong focus on residential work
• Proven ability to deliver high-end results
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and finish specs
• Own basic hand tools required
• Must be able to perform job duties that require standing, crouching, twisting upper body, working at heights, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
• Position requires the use of PPE, including: Steel-Toe work boots, safety vest, hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves
