BEPC is actively looking for Maintenance Mechanic III, in Minnetonka, MN area!

W2 Contract – 6 months with possible extensions!
Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance
Pay Rate: $30.00 - $34.29/hour - Determined based on experience (Paid Weekly)

Work Model: Onsite – 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM

Schedule: Monday through Thursday, with occasional overtime available on Fridays and on-call support on Saturdays and Sundays.

 

Note: This is a W2 only role — C2C, C2H will not be considered


Summary of the Role:

 

BEPC is seeking a highly motivated Maintenance Technician to join our client’s site in Minnetonka, MN. This role will support manufacturing operations by providing technical support for production equipment, including repairing, maintaining, and modifying equipment using technical expertise, technical manuals, schematic drawings, precision tools, and test equipment.

 

The Maintenance Technician will respond to assembly line equipment repair needs, troubleshoot equipment issues, perform necessary repairs, support equipment improvements, and maintain appropriate maintenance documentation. The role requires independent judgment, initiative, creative troubleshooting, and attention to detail when completing preventive maintenance tasks and activities.


Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Respond to assembly line equipment repair calls by diagnosing equipment problems and performing necessary repairs.
  • Document equipment qualifications and upgrades made to existing machines, including preventive maintenance performed and parts used, to maintain appropriate repair history in the MP2 maintenance database.
  • Maintain backup equipment and ensure spare parts are maintained at required levels to meet manufacturing equipment needs.
  • Assist industrial, manufacturing, and quality engineers in the operation of equipment.
  • Provide equipment development engineers with feedback on equipment issues and suggestions for improving equipment uptime.
  • Assist in the construction of worktables, including providing necessary utilities and setting up equipment on manufacturing assembly lines.
  • Modify existing assembly lines or workstations as required to accommodate manufacturing demands.
  • Plan and organize project assignments.
  • Select methods and practices to solve problems using ingenuity, creativity, and a high degree of independent action and initiative.
  • Propose solutions independently and make decisions on projects.
  • Perform complex or specialized technical assignments, typically project-based, requiring independent work.
  • May design, develop, or modify area-specific equipment, materials, systems, and/or products.
  • Apply considerable judgment, initiative, and creative troubleshooting approaches.
  • Make recommendations for continuous quality improvement of work methods within the functional area.
  • Perform work within a quality system environment.


Qualifications: 

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 2 years of related work experience. Manufacturing experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of complex technical concepts and practices.
  • Complete understanding of product or systems fundamentals within a functional area.
  • Working knowledge of related disciplines.
  • Ability to perform complex or specialized technical assignments independently.
  • Considerable judgment and a high degree of initiative.
  • Creative troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong attention to detail when completing preventive maintenance tasks and activities.
