Maintenance Technician

Full-Time | Hiring Immediately

PMD Maintenance is seeking an experienced Advanced Maintenance Technician to join our team. We are looking for a well-rounded maintenance professional with strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience across multiple trades.

This is not an entry-level position. The ideal candidate can receive a work order, assess the problem, determine what is needed, and complete quality repairs with limited supervision.

Responsibilities & Experience

Candidates should have hands-on experience with:

• Light construction, carpentry, and remodeling
• Window repair and replacement
• Door, frame, lock, and hardware repairs
• Light electrical repairs, including outlets, switches, fixtures, and lighting
• Tub and shower surround installation
• Drywall installation, patching, and repair
• Trim, baseboard, cabinet, and countertop installation/repair
• Flooring repairs
• Caulking, sealing, and weatherproofing
• Interior and exterior painting
• Appliance installation and basic troubleshooting
• General property and preventative maintenance

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Must successfully pass a background check
• Reliable and able to travel between properties throughout the workday
• Physically capable of lifting, carrying, climbing, bending, and performing general maintenance/construction work
• Advanced experience in multiple maintenance trades
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to accurately measure, cut, install, and finish materials
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple work orders
• Comfortable using mobile apps to receive and document work orders
• Professional communication and customer service skills
• Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented
• Ability to safely use ladders, power tools, and maintenance equipment
