About the Role

Worthington and Shagen Custom Builder is hiring an experienced Lead Carpenter to lead residential construction projects in the field from setup through completion. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, communicates well with clients and team members, and knows how to keep projects moving efficiently.

This position is ideal for a carpenter who can lead by example, solve problems proactively, and maintain high standards for quality, safety, and professionalism.

What You'll Do

• Lead day-to-day jobsite operations
• Review plans, scope, and project details before and during construction
• Coordinate materials, subcontractors, and scheduling in the field
• Maintain quality, safety, cleanliness, and jobsite organization
• Communicate with clients and keep the Project Manager updated on progress, issues, and change orders
• Complete carpentry work as needed.

• Experience leading jobsites or supervising crews
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Reliable attendance and strong jobsite leadership
• Commitment to safety, organization, and client satisfaction
• Expert Carpentry skills

Compensation

• Pay Range: $35-$40/hr DOE
• Medical insurance (available after 90 days)
• 401K (with 3% matching)
• profit sharing
• Paid time off.
