Shop Hand

Job description:

Electrical Contractors, Inc. located in Price, UT is looking for a Shop Hand to add to our growing team. In this role, you will provide assistance for a variety of tasks, including daily administration of the shop, and provide support for our electricians. You may also be asked to perform routine maintenance and cleaning of shop equipment.

Responsibilities Include:

· Be a self-starter

· Be reliable

· Assist with the loading and unloading of supplies and equipment

· May assist in cleaning the shop area, and retrieving parts and tools

· May deliver and pick-up parts which could include pulling a trailer

· May be required to operate forklift

· Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

· Detail oriented

· Flexible in dealing with frequent changes or unexpected delays

· Possess a driver’s license

· Able to lift and carry loads of 50 lbs.

· Ability to follow instructions and to also work independently

· Effective communication skills
