The Catawba Valley Staffing in Hickory, NC is seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our distribution center. This position involves various tasks related to shipping, receiving, inventory control, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. Pay range is $17.00- $20.00

Duties

• Operate pallet jacks and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation and timely delivery.
• Manage inventory control by tracking stock levels and conducting regular audits.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to build and package products for distribution.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space to promote safety and efficiency.
• Support the team in various tasks as needed, contributing to a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting is preferred.
• Strong understanding of shipping and receiving processes.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
