Estimator Trainee Entry Level

Location: Ontario, CA

Pay: $20.00$22.00/hr

Schedule: Full-Time| M-Th 5:00 AM 3:30 PM

We are hiring an Estimator Trainee to join a manufacturing company's Engineering Department. This is a great opportunity for someone who is strong in math, detail-oriented, and interested in learning how products are quoted and manufactured.

What You'll Learn & Do

Review blueprints and manufacturing specifications

Calculate material and labor costs

Assist with preparing accurate customer quotes

Enter and maintain pricing and estimating information

Learn cost-estimating techniques and industry standards

Train on the estimating software used by the company

Work closely with experienced engineering and manufacturing professionals

What We're Looking For

Excellent math skills are a must, including:

oAddition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

oFractions

oDecimals

oCalculations to the ten-thousandths

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Good written and verbal communication skills

Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality

Comfortable learning new computer systems and processes

Interest in manufacturing, engineering, or learning a technical career

Blueprint reading experience is a big plus
