About the Position
Position/Specialty: IR Tech
Shift: 5x8s, Mon-Fri, 8a-4:30p
Daily Caseload Per Tech: 4
Is On-call REQ: Yes, rotation between two other techs
Weekend REQ: Yes, every third weekend
Will this traveler need to float within scope to meet facility needs/float between like units/sister facilities? (Y/N): No
Required/Preferred
Years of experience REQ: 1 year of experience
First-time travelers accepted? (Y/N): Yes
Types of Cases Experience REQ: General IR required
Types of Cases Experience Preferred: Neuro IR
National Certs REQ: BLS, ARRT (R), SCQRSA
Radiation Badge REQ: Yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency; MUSC does NOT provide radiation badges to travelers

Hurricane Season** Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a NEW or EXT assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
