Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist position is located in an outpatient setting. This role involves performing and assisting with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures, including neuro interventional radiology (IR) cases, as well as gastrointestinal (GI) embolizations. The technologist will support patient preparation, maintain a sterile environment, operate specialized imaging equipment, and collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals. Primary responsibilities include patient monitoring, contrast administration under supervision, and ensuring radiation and patient safety in both routine and emergency procedures.

Job Details:

  • Location: Outpatient healthcare facility
  • Schedule: Rotating shift, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Start Date: 09/21/2026
  • End Date: 12/14/2026
  • Required Qualifications:
    • Two years of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience
    • ARRT Registered Technologist (R.T.(R)) certification
    • ARRT Vascular Interventional (VI), Cardiovascular Interventional (CV), or Cardiac Intervention (CI) certification
    • BLS certification within 30 days of hire
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience with neuro IR cases, including stroke call coverage
    • Experience with gastrointestinal embolization procedures
  • Additional Information:
    • Direct patient care in an environment exposing staff to blood and body fluids, infectious diseases, hazards, chemicals, and radiation.
    • Staffing flexibility includes downstaffing options for 36 or 48 hours within a 13-week contract, based on weekly schedules.
