Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) The Palm Beaches, Florida. This position involves providing inpatient physical therapy services within a facility focused on adult and geriatric patient populations. The role offers an opportunity to work in a vibrant South Florida environment, assisting patients with a variety of diagnoses including CVA, respiratory, cardiac, amputations, fractures, and replacements.
Job Details:
- Certifications, Education, and Experience: Valid license; 0+ years of experience preferred.
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The caseload includes adult and geriatric patients, with patient ratios of approximately 5-6:1. The unit is equipped with TENS, ergometers, parallel bars, and omnicycle equipment. Electronic health records include Net Health, PRO Doc, and Pro Touch.
- Responsibilities: Assess patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver inpatient physical therapy care. The role requires a team-oriented approach and solution-focused attitude.
- Preferred Qualifications: Inpatient/acute care experience.
