Job Summary
The CT Technologist position in the CT (Computed Tomography) specialty is based in a healthcare facility. This role involves operating imaging equipment to produce quality computerized tomography studies and assisting with CT guided procedures. The technologist will coordinate examinations, ensure patient safety, and maintain accurate documentation, serving a diverse patient population including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric individuals.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, from 09/22/2026 to 12/22/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Successful graduation from a Joint Commission approved School of Radiologic Technology or equivalent experience, certification in ARRT (Radiography and CT), CRT - Certified Radiologic Technologist, IV Certification, BLS Healthcare Provider certification, and Radiology Fluoroscopy within 180 days of hire.
- Responsibilities include performing quality CT examinations per physician protocols, coordinating exams, administering venipuncture and medications with safety and effectiveness, and accurately documenting care in the electronic health record.
- Requires knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and technical factors and proficiency with multiple computerized systems, including PACS for transmitting, archiving, and retrieving digital images.
- The role involves providing patient care tailored to the age-related needs of all patient populations, with a focus on safety, education, and effective communication.
- Ability to work with high-risk and critically ill patients is essential.
- Certification and licensure must be uploaded and current; candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in similar roles.
